2021年3月12日，著名布道家路易斯·帕劳因肺癌去世，享年86岁。
帕劳1934年出生于阿根廷，1960年移居美国开展事工。帕劳很小就失去了父亲，曾用多年时间帮助家人渡过难关，此后帕劳在收音机里听到葛培理牧师的布道，从而决定将自己的一生献给耶稣。
在随后的岁月里，帕劳开始走上街头布道，录制广播节目。并且在南美洲的暴力政治动荡中传福音。此后，他的福音事工横跨了半个世纪，足迹遍布75个国家。因此帕劳也被称为南美“葛培理”。
2018年，曾描述这位传道人生平的自传体电影《帕劳》完成拍摄，也正是与此同时，帕劳宣布自己确诊肺癌。即使如此，帕劳说：“没有什么比服侍祂，分享祂的好消息福音更好的了”。
