人物传记：富能仁
近一百年前，一位来自英国、年仅22岁的年轻人首次踏足中国云南省西部边境的山区，他就是内地会的宣教士富能仁 (James O. Fraser 1886 — 1938)。
起先他向当地汉人传教，但是皈依基督者寥寥无几。于是他将传教重点转向此前不为人知的傈僳族。此后的许多年中，他热衷于独自一人，翻越崇山峻岭，向聚居于中缅边境怒江上游大峡谷的傈僳族讲道。傈僳人乐意接待这位传教士，于是他就住在他们泥屋中。起初他们只能用有限的汉语交谈，然后他开始学习傈僳族的语言，这是一种属于藏缅语族的语言。富能仁掌握这种语言后，立即着手将《马可福音》和赞美诗翻译为傈僳语，发挥傈僳族在歌唱方面的天赋，还计划将傈僳族口头历史歌曲用音符记录下来。
在最初的几年传教过程中，面对完全陌生的语言、文化和环境，富能仁遇到了许多怀疑和困难，但他能坚持传福音，只因为有基督的爱。经过三十年的努力，他不但在傈僳族人中种下了福音的种子，也激励了其他往少数民族去的宣教士，成为一代东南亚宣教士的典范。

《觅非播舍之家》是导演黎光和她的团队多年共同努力打磨出来的一部电影作品。在制作影片的过程中，她与团队成员都深刻感受到这部影片的真正导演和编剧都是上帝，所有人都是很荣幸被祂邀请到其中，尽力做了自己的那一份。
觅非播舍，是“米非波设”的谐音，来源于圣经旧约撒母耳记中大卫恩待米非波设的故事。这是一个充满了爱和饶恕的故事，觅非播舍创办的目的，就是要寻找这世界认为没有价值的生命，为他们播种一个家。 而影片就记录了许多一出生就被抛弃的重度残疾儿童被收养、救治和照顾的故事。片中的主角是不少弟兄姐妹熟知的新玮，还有她的丈夫史蒂夫。当然新玮肯定会说自己不是主角，上帝才是。
影片的拍摄素材跨越了16年的时光，其间由十几位曾对这个家庭关心或有兴趣的人在不同的时期拍摄，他们来自不同的地方、有着不同的职业，但最终这些素材都汇集到了我这里，这真的是上帝非常奇妙的带领和安排。影片的拍摄素材共有600多个小时，这部影片是从100多个小时的素材中剪辑而成的，所以之后它将继续进行。下一部将会把新玮后期生病的真实生活景况和她更亲密地与神建立关系的故事告诉大家，相信会让人对我们的信仰有更深入的理解！新玮用她自己的经历和生命告诉我们～我们的信仰是超越死亡的！
后记：
新玮姐妹在四年前因癌症去世，但是她对上帝的爱和对那些孩子们的爱、她患病后给众人的鼓励、去世前带着身体的剧痛与大家的分享，一直都在对人心说话。
看完影片我们可能会思考：为什么上帝会允许祂宝贝的子民生病甚至死亡？
新玮曾经分享过一个简短的回答：“耶稣没有向天父讨要他一生卑微、羞辱受死的理由，因为祂知道为何降生，为谁受死。所以祂可以默然接受降生在马槽里，成长在木匠家，钉死在十字架上……如果我们也知道自己是谁，要做什么，要去哪里，那么当苦难临到时，我们便不再需要理由……”
新玮去世前不久在微信中留下这样的话语：
“我要抓紧剩下的时间去和更多人分享基督徒的生死观，要帮助他们战胜对死亡的恐惧，不再做死亡的奴仆。我去爱上帝所爱的，祂一定会照料我所爱的。”
