Bartholomew Gee was born with arthrogryposis — a rare disability affecting muscles and joints. His parents believe Bartholomew is a gift from God who is also highly gifted musically. Using footage filmed when Bartholomew was eight, and more recently when he became 21, this video tells the heartwarming story of a young boy overcoming a severe disability and growing to become a man at peace with God and enjoying life to the full.

The indoctrination of Gerrit Wolfaardt is complete: his family traditions, history, culture, even his church, have taught him that black South Africans are a cancer in the land. Under the eye of prominent members of the government and military, Gerrit develops a diabolical plan to rid South Africa of its “black danger.” Before his plans can be carried out, he meets two people who will put him on a collision course with his future: Celeste, an open minded university student, and Peter, a pastor who challenges Gerrit’s prejudice.
His “final solution” meets its greatest obstacle when Gerrit himself realizes he is wrong. The Persecutor becomes the Peacemaker and begins to seek reconciliation between whites and blacks. However, in the turbulent last days of apartheid, there are those who doubt his transformation. One such person is Moses Moremi, whom Gerrit had once violently attacked. In the film’s dramatic conclusion, it is Moses who must choose between peace and bloodshed.

Face to Face by Ballet Magnificat！
Envy, intrigue and triumph – this contemporary story of two professional dancers takes the audience behind the scenes of a ballet company. Jealousy and the desire for worldly acclaim consume most of the company members. But a stark contrast is made between two dancers as they come face to face with each other. One dancer’s life is filled with an unusual joy and freedom; the other finds that her life of selfishness, alcohol and loose living brings her nothing but emptiness and depression. This beautiful story of redemption includes excerpts from the classical ballet Don Quixote and the powerful Biblical account of the sinful woman.

Ruth by Ballet Magnificat!
RUTH, a rich, captivating production showcases the technical strengths of Ballet Magnificat! The elaborate lighting, sets, scenery and colorful costuming highlight a ballet that depicts the human experiences of loss, loneliness, love and ultimately hope.
Set in Spain and America in the early 1900s, choreographer Jiri Sebastian Voborsky puts a contemporary spin on this Biblical story of tragedy and redemption. Naomi and daughter-in-law, Ruth, are bound together by their shared grief. The two women sail for America, Naomi’s home, to begin a new life. Upon arrival, Ruth is denied entrance. Boaz redeems the situation by purchasing Ruth’s citizenship in the New World. This parallels the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who paid the price for our salvation.
