Envy, intrigue and triumph – this contemporary story of two professional dancers takes the audience behind the scenes of a ballet company. Jealousy and the desire for worldly acclaim consume most of the company members. But a stark contrast is made between two dancers as they come face to face with each other. One dancer’s life is filled with an unusual joy and freedom; the other finds that her life of selfishness, alcohol and loose living brings her nothing but emptiness and depression. This beautiful story of redemption includes excerpts from the classical ballet Don Quixote and the powerful Biblical account of the sinful woman.
